FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Things people ask while pretending not to shop for themselves!

What is the meaning of life?

We don’t know. But if we were to hazard a guess, it probably involves laughter, chosen family, and some super fun queer T-shirts!

Now, onto the questions about merch.

FIRST SOME FACTS:

We are Canadian queers. We are working as PRINT ON DEMAND which means every item gets made when it gets ordered. The company we use for this is Printify. All of their prices are in USD. We try to geolocate you and show you prices in USD if you’re in the US and CAD if you’re in Canada. Sometimes that gets messed up so:

WE PROVIDE A CURRENCY CONVERTER to insure you can see what your Canadian cost is against the USD rate.

Where do you ship
We currently ship to Canada and the U.S. It’s best to shop in the store where you’re located/shopping to to avoid extra fees we don’t have any say over like duties and those nasty tariffs.

If you live elsewhere and still want the joy, email us — we’ll see what magic we can work.

How long does shipping take?

It’s the holiday season so a normal 2-5 day standard ship might take more like 5–10 days depending on where you are and how cranky your local postal workers are. We’ll send tracking info once your order ships. If you’re ordering for the holidays, try get it in before December 15 if you can!

Is Express Shipping available?

Not yet but we’re working on it!

What’s your return policy?
Since each item is made to order just for you, we unfortunately can’t accept returns or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged or there’s a production error.

But if something’s off, email us and we’ll do our best to make it right — queer karma is real.

Who’s behind this?
We are! We’re Funny That Way — the world’s first LGBTQ+ comedy and performance festival, born in 1997. Now we’re bringing that legacy of joy, community and queer irreverence to your
closet and coffee table.
How do I wash my merch?

With love.
(And however it says so on the tag.)

I still have questions.
Email us at info@deejayalex.ca and someone fabulously helpful will respond. Probably not Aunt Peggy, but she approves this message.
