Well this is another IYKYK moment, especially if you experience it on a regular basis.  But we feel like “sir” is an attempt at “polite” AND it sure sounds way stronger than “ma’am” so f*ck yeah, we’ll take it and run with it and let our sir flag fly!

OUR STORY: This is us!  We’re Funny That Way! Born as the first queer comedy festival of it’s kind back in 1997, our name was a “take back” from a pejorative phrase used to describe any non-hetero in the family, or at work, or well, anywhere people wanted to be mean.  It usually went like this: “Oh Aunt Peggy? Didn’t you know she’s funny that way?” Said line usually delivered while one hand was held flat out rocking side to side.  Yeah, like a boat rocking – which is exactly what Aunt Peggy, and Uncle Lee, and all of those fabulous people were doing!  So yeah, damn right we’re funny that way! And proud of it!

Care instructions
– Use warm water and dish soap and clean spots off your hat. It’s not necessary to soak the whole item. For hard to clean spots use a soft bristled brush.
